Hey everybody, I went to an Arron Tippen concert last night at my home town county fair in Malone, NY. He put on a pretty good show, but the balance was a little bit off. The drums were the loudest instrument to be heard. At times the drums even drowned out Arron Tippen. I wish the volume for steel and fiddle would have been higher. By the way who's playing steel for Arron Tippen anyway, and what's he playing for a steel? I was around 100-150 feet away from the band, so I really couldn't read the name on the steel, but it either said ZumSteel or Show-Bud. |

Chris, that's my good buddy Larry Nalley playing steel for Tip. The last I spoke with him he was still playing his red D-12 Mullen so, unless anything has changed in the last month or so, that's probably the guitar you saw. Larry is a smokin' player, a great teacher and one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. If it weren't for him I'd probably still be sittin' at home trying to figure my guitar out instead of playing.
Take Care
David

Thanks for the reply David. I never thought of Mullen when I tried to read the lable. I guess my eyes aren't as good as I thought. You're defenitly right, he's a smokin' player. Thanks again...
