I got a chance to catch this last night. It's really good. No steel involved but what a great band!, and Trisha is just incredible. So unpretentious and authentic. Plus the sound is good too, I cranked up my stereo and really enjoyed the quality of the mix.

She grew up just afew miles from me and I sorta had an offer to play steel for her but I turned it down because I was a dummy at the time and thought that she would probably be just another has-been in the so called country music business of today. Boy!! talk about one of lifes backfires, I really blew that one! |

I am a huge fan, what a voice.
Her version of Gretchen Peter's "On A Bus to St. Cloud" kills me.
And "How Do I Live Without You"--stunning vocal complimented by Paul Franklin's equally stunning and eloquent playing. If it gets much better, I have no clue where it is.[This message was edited by John Macy on 07 April 2000 at 01:08 PM.] |

John,
I agree, she's one that can sing anything thrown her way. She's a natural! Pure, clean, wonderful range and she has heart and soul!
