The Derailers finaly dropped to nr 2
Nr 5 Alan Jackson Under the Influence
Nr 6 Larry Cordell/ Murder on Music Row
Lonesome Standerd Time
Nr 10 Ed Burelson My Perfect World
also a little further down the list are
the Ex Husbends, the Red Dirt Rangers
and Roger Wallace.

We need more Americana stations

That's putting it mildly, no? [g] I think Americana type stations are playing the best music on the radio, period. For all of you who complain (as I do) about mainstream country radio, you might check to see if there's an Americana station in your area.

I saw this post while searching for something else and I though I would mention a good alternative for folks who don't have a good alt country/americana station nearby--internet radio. I have been listening a good bit to Texas Rebel Radio out the Texas Hill Country, and they play a lot of great music. www.texasrebelradio.com Give it a try.
