For those of you who remember or backed Luke Gordon in the 50s and 60s (Dark Hollow, Going Crazy and a bunch of others), I pleased to say he and his wife are doing well, now living in Huntington, WV. I spent some time with him last week (we hadn't seen each other in 44 years!). We had a whole lot of talking to do to catch up-- we talked about everyone.

Are your ears burning?

Back then, I was 16 and he was an old man of 23. He'll be 68 next month. We were all woking for Don Owens back then in the Washington-Baltimore area.

I looks like some of his (and others) live work will be on a CD this year (tracks off the Don Owens TV Jamboree 1957-1960, Washington, D.C.) The Washington Post had a front page story about it a few weeks ago.
