Class act... top notch performance...

with special guests Mrs. Black, Big Ray Benson and Eric Johnson...

nice little tribute to Chet Atkins... with all the hot pickin' to go along with it...

and wow... Topin' it off with Steely Dan's "Josie", featuring Clint's lead player dueling out with Eric Johnson...

I think Eric is going to influence me pickin' up the six string electric guitar again... it's been awhile...

later... Mike

Didn't get to see the whole show but saw enough to see that it was a kick a$$ show.I didn't know Clint could play a mean set of drums.

Hey it's refreshing not to hear people bashing the newer artists for a change. Ol' Clint is one of the better ones to come along IMHO. I haven't seen this show yet but am looking forward to it. Check out Clint's video for "We Tell Ourselves" it's got some killer pickin' on it!

Luckily the DFW area PBS station, KERA channel 13, has seen fit to show at least this ACL, and it's on (for us) at its regular time: 6:00 PM CST on Sunday so I'll get to watch it. Thanks for the reviews!

I don't consider Clint a new artist. He's been around long enough to be called a veteran,in my opinion.

Never mind all the the talk about the side show. Tell us about Jeff Peterson's steel pickin'.

Yeah, Clint's part of "The Class of '89", right? Heady times for country music! I have his first 3 albums, but nothing later. I expect he'll be around long after the pop influence has faded; very talented singer and writer.

Yes, Jeff was good on his drobro and D-10 Emmons !! Of course, they didn't feature him enough !! I guess to please ME, The entire show would have to be about STEEL GUITAR !!
Anyway, Jeff really sounded GOOD !!

I just caught the last part of it, but I enjoyed it...
I noticed in the credits that Jeff was also credited for the production. He must be well rounded in his talents.
