For Christmas, one of my lovely kids bought me the above mentioned book by Barry McCloud and others. It is really fun reading-it is not a chronological history of country music, but rather an artist by artist account. It even has information about Buddy Emmons, Jimmy Day, and other steel players. How about that !!
Seriously, it is interesting reading and has over 1,100 pages and a few pictures. You can get a little bit of history about your favorite country musician. Brings back lots of memories. Makes great reading while on the throne, if anybody out there does that kind of thing- the reading part I mean !
For $20 it is hard to beat.
