This is not steel related but Calvin Crawford passed away Thursday morning after a long battle with cancer. Calvin was Jimmy Dickens bass player for 20 plus years. He was a friend to many steel players in Nashville. He and Jimmy's steel player, George (PeeWee)Rogers had worked together for many years with Dickens and With David Houston prior to that. Our prayers go out to Calvins Family and to PeeWee in this time of great loss.

Hello Johnny,

It was sad to hear about Calvin. When I quit Tater back in the 80's Calvin and PeeWee came to work for him. Calvin was a very nice person.
