1957 Fender 400, blonde, 8 pedals, 4 knees (not factory, but functional), wide pickup, all original except knees. Extra parts (cables, pedals, etc.). Non-original brand new keyboard soft case (not a bag).

Scott,

What keyboard soft case did you use? I have a long scale and would like to get one.

Thanks,
Russ

Russ, I can't find a name on the case, but I think it's a Pro-Tec. The foam shell is 1 1/2" thick and you have to notch it 1/2" to get the 400 to fit, but it works well and doesn't break your back.
Kieran, I'm technologically challenged on the whle digicam thing. Email me a cell number and I can text message you some pics with my phone if you like.

Scott, are you loking for cash only, or any possible trades - six-strings, amps, effects or anything along that line?

Sorry guys, I was told by a reputable dealer that I trust that it was a 57, but just now I was told in an email that according to the serial number it would be a 60 not a 57. The electronics are good, no issues, and the pickup is original. I also have a rough (project) 1000 (body, frame, pedal board) I will throw in and some extra pedals and cables. Make me an offer for both guitars.
Thanks.

Ed, thanks for your interest and your concern... . I'll pass along your howdy.

Ok guys, I need the space and the bucks.......the complete and playable 400 serial # 00763 with the new case, the 1000 body serial # 00554 (body, frame, both pulling finger assemblies, and pedal board), the extra parts, and another 400 body serial # 01166 (body, frame, and pedal board).
First $1000 plus shipping gets the whole thing.
Thanks.

Scott,

Did you record anything on the 400 you could share? I'd love to hear it before it finds a new home. I love the sounds of the old Fenders.

Russ,
Thanks for asking, but unfortunately I don't have anything recorded on the 400. The Fender was my first steel. I always use the Sho-Bud or the Marrs in the studio (when anyone's brave enough to hire me for steel in the studio that is!).
I need to find a home for these Fenders, I need the room!
C'mon y'all, make me an offer!
