I went to the Loud and Clear display in Sacramento and I saw a guitar under glass that interested me.It was made by John Morton. It was a Weisinborn style body made out of metal and had a tri-cone set-up.Has anyone out there played one of these? How does it sound? Anybody know how to get in contact with this luithier? Thanks for any help.

Hi Gerry, I make metal and wood reso's and I've been trying to get ahold of John too. He belongs (or at least goes to the meetings of) the Sacramento Valley Luthiers Guild (or society I can't remember which, it's on FRETS.com) His work seems really nice and I understand he has used actual german sliver and I'd like to find out his source. I've email'd Brian Burns the president of the organization but have heard nothing back.
