Rick D-8 Console

My business associate and I are going to be selling a Rickenbacker, D-8, Walnut body, Console, horse shoe magnets / pickups, 4 legs are correct and in good condition, S/N D8146W, w/ original "Fender Type" H.S. Case (gray w/ black sewn leather end caps ) for a friend of ours.
The guitar is quite clean, as is the case with the exception of things like a few very minor nicks out of the gray tolex...and the same on the end caps.
Everything works on the Guitar.....controls, switches. pickups, etc. Nice clean axe.
The S/N ( to me ) seems to be consistent D8 146 W, indicating Double 8 # 146 and "W" for walnut body.
We should have pics this coming week.
The owner has made some contacts and is awaiting the replies to determine the price.
I have not kept up on non-pedal prices, so I'm in the dark as to what the going rate should be for an instrument like this.
Any suggestiongs as to who might be a Rick Console Guru / Authority?

The owner has settled in on a price for the Double 8 Rick console, $1050.00 plus shipping & insurance.
I have pics that I can e-mail but will have pics tomorrow that I can post with a link.
