Thanks for the bump Randy. Yes Emmons pickups will fit.And yes I love Emmons single coils as well as the 108's. But I wouldn't change a thing about the sound of this guitar. If a steeler can't get a good sound out of this one. He's got bigger problems than pickups.

Beautiful Rains! These are fine guitars. Somebody's going to be really surprised when they sit down behind it. All a player has to do is take one for a test drive and it's sold!

My Rains D10 had SS pickups and I would not think of changing them for anything. It sounds terrific.

Bobby.....my new "Rains" is absolutely the best guitar I've ever owned. I've played all week long and taken it to 4 or 5 different venues.....and all I've had to do was set it up.....not one tuning issue....I check the "E"'s....(E9).....and the "C"'s on C6......and they've been right on the money.......to me that's fantastic. One test drive at Carr's Steel Guitar Shop was all that it took.....I've got George L's 10-1 pickups on mine and it's absolutely "tone to the bone".....someone better pick this one up.....unless bobby you need to keep her for yourself.....(LOL).......HAL

Wow... this is a great deal. I love my Rains.
It is a killer good guitar.

I used my Rains exlusively on my new CD. The linked cut has quite a bit of the Rains on it. My style is kind of old school, sneaky pete, buddy cage flavored.

Anyway... I would love another Rains, but I'll be sleeping in the garage if I spend another penny on a guitar.
