Remember the idea for a body attachment to make a lap steel strap-on like your Dobro or Resonator guitar that we discussed back on the forum a few months ago? Well we finally got it to work perfectly - and man it is amazing - lap steel just came to the front of the stage guys...I put some pictures of it on the Store hotsheet on the Melobar site.

Ted, when I go to the hot sheet, I see the picture you've had there since you announced the idea. Are you going to post pictures of the final version (or, is there a final version yet?) Any idea as to when these will be made available?

Hit Refresh Chris,or just click on the "hotsheet" above that Brad fixed, there are new pictures right on top of it in use.

Not working for me for some reason. Anyone else having trouble?

I've used Brad's link, hit refresh, first thing I'm seeing is the announcement for the Arlen Roth video. Maybe my browser isn't working properly.

Try saving the link (right click or option click, then choose Save Link As...). It should come up as a Microsoft Word document in a new window if you just click on the link.
Otherwise, go to the Melobar web site, click on the Store link, and then click on the Hot Sheet link on their site.

Hi, Ted --I'm all over this! Saves me from having to find a "cigars, cigarettes" box to lay my steel in. One question -- what's the best way to attach a Dobro strap to the headstock end of an LS-6?

Best always,
Peter

Sorry Bill, I'm very ignorant on this computer magic. If you want to grab the pictures Brad they're yours.

Hi Peter, I'm using the wrap around the head type strap(or the D'Addario quick release system half loop cord that you can get through Elderly for $2.75), works great on any Resonator type guitar.
