Congratulations on your First Year of bussiness from myself and all my friends who have visited your store. "Steel Guitars Of North County" Jim always has time to answer a question or share a "lick". Its a good place to meet other players big or small. I visit there often to chat with Jim and I have been known to make a purchase are two. Jim, Congratulations!
That's no small feat these days.
I've heard that your store is doing so well, that the Guitar Center closest to you will be adding a complete steel guitar room, featuring; MSA , ZB, Showbud, and Marlin Perkins.

I'm glad I finally got down to SGNC before the 1st year was up. Jim has worked on two of my guitars in the last month and I'll be happy to make the trip to Oceanside again anytime I need anything done.
Jim, you should hear my 75PP through the 112...SweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT!

Jim did some great work on my Fessenden, and he really got it back-to-new smooth. I plan to haul it to him again one of these days, to learn me some more about setup. He's a great guy, and I'm glad we have him nearby.

Anyone who can stand this business has my respect. I did it for several years and it is tough. I thought it was like being in jail!

I wouldn't want to try to raise a family on the income from a steel guitar store but I truly love every minute of it and offer a very heart felt thanks for all the nice comments- it has been my honor to help all of you. |

Hey Jim,
Seattle is a great place to live and we need a store like yours up here. The big benefit is you don't to worry about that pesky sun getting in the way.
How about it?

Jim is a nice guy! Always willing to share info and completely check out his guitars with no sales pressure. It's great for newbies like myself! Unfortunately, I will always be remembered as the guy that got the MSA taken away from under his nose by the guy who started this thread, Wilburn Meeks. As old Ernest said, Thanks Alot! )~ If you're local, be sure to stop on by! |

I have to appologize about not keeping the website current. The inventory changes so often I made a decision that the web site would be purely informational about what goes on at the shop. If anyone has specific questions I'm always glad to take pics and send them on~ |

Jesse I feel sorry about as you say stealing the MSA from under you nose. In talking to you I did not feel that you were sincerly interested. If you had told me you wanted it. I would not have bought it. There are many great steels in the store. Good luck and happy picking. [This message was edited by Wilburn Meeks on 09 May 2006 at 09:10 AM.] |
