This Tele is beautiful, has quilted maple top with binding and contoured for arm and tummy cut. Has pair of Seymour Duncan pickups with coil tap switch on the tone pot. The neck has roswood fretboard with custom diamond markers and is bound. Tuners are Grovers. Very classy instrument in excellent ++ conditon.
This is a Schecter guitar.

Seems I have an offer from someone attending the TX Steel Guitar Convention. I'm supposed to have confirmation Monday. Meanwhile have sent pics to 3 other people.
Jay, check your e-mail.

When I saw this ad I thought this was a Tele as in Telecaster....
Hmm. |

I called it a Tele since it is a clone of a Tele. Should have said "Schecter guitar shaped like a Tele". Didn't mean to mislead anyone.

The text in the ad does state "This is a Schecter guitar." It's not uncommon even for guitar dealers to call these "Schechter Teles", although it's more accurate to title the ad "Schechter Tele-style guitar". But either way, upon reading the ad, it was immediately clear to me that this is a Schechter Tele clone, not a real Fender Telecaster.
BTW, I've had a couple of these over the years. They were both fine guitars with premium woods and workmanship, in the Telecaster-style tradition - and a bargain, IMO. |
