I am a new member. I have a 1967 Sho-Bud I want to sell and I need help evaluating its worth. I am the original owner. It is birdseye maple, 3X4. It's had a fair amount of customizing done over the years. Originally it had only one knee lever, and I added the other 3. I put on Schaller tuning machines. The original pick-up has been replaced with a George L. At one point in it's life, I had two pick ups on it. The empty space is now covered with a plate of thin birdseye maple and finished to look like the rest of the steel. It plays well. All the pedals and knee levers work. The knee levers are closer together than most other pedal steels (knees are not as far apart) for a better ergonomic feel for my body size. These could be moved, of course, to accommodate a larger person.

Show me some Pics. What it's worth and what it sell for are sometimes two totally different things. An original Pro 1 with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers can get 900.00 to 1200.00 here ,but as you stated it's not original.
You might send some pics to Brother Ricky Davis. He may be able to get you close on a price
