I have a double neck 6 sting Fender steel for sale. The guitar was built in April 1952. It is missing a bridge and pickup assembly on one neck. The tuning keys are in good shape and the pickup does work. The neck selector switch and plate are missing. It appears the volume and tone controls have been by passed. There is not case. I am asking $225 shipping included to lower 48 states. I have pictures I can e-mail if interested. I have been told I cold probably get more by selling it in pieces but I would prefer to sell as a unit to some steel player who could possible have extra parts to put it back together.Thanks.

Well I finally found out it's a custom with boxcar pickup. Beat up blond but got a lot of soul. It is missing one pickup/bridge plate assembly and the little toggle plate. So if anyone has these parts, I will be thrilled to find them. |

Those boxcar pickups are pretty cool. I have a 48 Dual Pro with boxcars.
Rick Aiello has a Dual Pro with 1 boxcar and 1 trapezoid . .
Best of luck with your search! |

I just examined a picture and it has a Trapazoid pickup, not a Boxcar as I thought. So I'll be wanting to buy a pickup and bridge plate. |

Hey Loni, your guitar left Texas on Friday afternoon by UPS Ground. I will send you tracking numbers on Monday. I hope you can get the parts you need to restore it. WHen you get it all back together, send my a picture.
