This is a "What you see is what you get" guitar. This was going to be my "Someday I'll get around to restoring it" project. It plays very well, but it's rough. Take note of the tuning keys. The original ivory fell off and the previous owner soldered hex nuts to them. I do have one of the original plastic p/u covers for it and it has the original hardshell case which is really in rough shape. The output jack has been changed to a 1/4" phone jack. I have other pics if you're interested. $500.00 you ship. Keyboard stand shown in pic does not go with it.

National Grande Console-circa 1949-that is when the non-tiered neck (as this appears to be) became available-We don't see the pickup covers but if they were clear (like on the one I had) Then it is definitely a '49 as they went to creme color covers in 1950*
*Per Mr.Gruhn-Guide To Vintage Guitars* My opinion is that by about 1953 they went to the black and white color scheme on the body-PW

Ahh fond memories! My dad played this model of National when I was a kid. I remember the guy that had it before him had built up the outer neck because the front and back were the same height.
