I just bought a Rickenbacker console, I believe it's a Byrd model. The only number I can find on it is CC266 on the jack plate, if anyone can give me the year of manufacture I would appreciate it, thanx!

Al,
That sounds like a '56-'57 model.
Here's some more info.

The Jerry Byrd model was made between 1961 and 1970, according to Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars. From 1957 to 1961 it was known as the CW model.
