It's a squareneck, built for Dobro by Regal -- the body is 3-1/2" deep. The (lugged) cone, spider and tuners are all original. The finish and plated parts are in very good condition -- it has only one scratch of any consequence. No cracks; the neck joint is tight. It's ready to go for another 68 years ...
The original brown "moc croc" case is included. It's showing its age more than the guitar is, but it still gets the job done.
If you're in search of the vintage Dobro sound, this is an affordable, solid guitar that will provide it. But if you're after the "bigger" contemporary sound, you'll probably be disappointed -- buy a GoldTone Beard or a Wechter Scheerhorn instead!
$900 includes shipping within the U.S., although I'm open to sending it anywhere in the world.
Please e-mail any questions you might have ... I'll happily send more detailed photos. |
