I have a 12 string sho bud steel guitar I would like possibly to sell, since I have acquired a double neck. I don't know the age of the sho bud, serial number is 13114 and it is black with red and white chord markings. The sho bud has 3 pedals and 5 knee levers. I would appreciate any information on similiar sho-bud's. Knee levers are straight, changer is triple raise and double lower. No brass seen on undercarriage. I have heard all kind of prices mentioned for these old guitars. I don't know what to ask. I have enjoyed the energetic replies so far..Don't know about that sperm thing! Does this help to answer all these inquires.. How do we put pics on!!!

Richard, I would like possibly to be the most interested. Can I get some pics before anybody else does? I may have emailed you before you owned this ShoBud.
Thanks, Savell |

Richard,
You put pix on by learning UBB code and having a server to host the files. Instructions are available on the forum help section see http://steelguitarforum.com/ubbcode.html#images.
If you'd like, just send the pix to me and I'll put 'em on for you.
Welcome to the forum.

Richard--I'd like to know what your steel is myself. I have a Sho~Bud 12 Universal. Straight knee levers like you mentioned, but mine is a 7 pedal, 4 knee steel. So, my guess is you have an extended E9 or else maybe somebody removed pedals 4-7. If the undercarriage has the hardware to attach more pedal rods, this could be the case. I don't know much about the various models Sho~Bud built, but I'm interested in what this guitar is as I'd like to know what mine might be worth. |

I'll close the post for you Richard.
Hey folks, classified ads are NOT a chat room. People are trying to sell things, and I'm sure that most of them don't appreciate having their ads hijaaked with off-topic comments.
I'm not speaking for Richard or anyone else in particular, but there have been complaints about this. If you have no interest in the item that's for sale and don't know the seller, you shouldn't reply to the ad. It's just rude!
