Hi all,

I have my Blond J200 for sale. S/N A32116, this puts it at 1958 according to the Blue Book Gibson dating page. It has original Grover tuners and an open moustache bridge, so that puts it at a '59-'60 model. I think it's likely to be very late '58 then!

I like to give "warts and all" descriptions, so here goes:

About a 7.5 condition because:
- Older top refin, with some overspray in the soundhole
- No pickguard, with a fair bit of playing wear round the soundhole
- Professionally filled jack socket hole
- Non original end strap button

Good stuff:
- It sounds awesome! Everyone who's played it can't believe how rich this J200 sounds! My guitar tech believes this is partly due to the lack of that big thick pickguard, hence I haven't replaced it
- Neck is in beautiful condition - it plays very well indeed
- Back and sides in beautiful condition. Back has a really cool tiger stripe flame.
- Original Gibson brown case (with replaced handle)


Asking 3500 UK Pounds (US$6700, Euro5150). I'll take a close offer from a Forumite rather than go to Ebay!
