I have decided to sell my S-10 Emmons as I mainly play my 1978 D-10 PP and don't really need it anymore. It's a 1973 (S/N 1227S) flat rosewood mica with a "fat back". Standard Emmons set-up with three pedals and five knee levers. I re-built it myself, replacing all worn parts including a new axle in the changer and new Kluson tuners. Very good condition, plays and sounds great!
$1450.00 including case (also in very good condition) plus shipping to the lower 48. It would be nice to sell it to someone in Oregon or Washington if possible, but not necessary.
I can e-mail photos to you if you'll e-mail me with a request.
Thanks for your consideration,
Lynn[This message was edited by Lynn Stafford on 03 February 2005 at 12:37 PM.] [This message was edited by Lynn Stafford on 03 February 2005 at 12:39 PM.] |

Bump for a friend. Lynn if very very particular about his equipment, he always takes the time to do it right. I have seen, and purchased, gear from him, he is the real deal.
Nice guitar, case and a little added shipping, sounds like a good deal just waiting to happen.

Okay then...I've had a few inquiries but the guitar is still for sale because of no offers from anyone. Everyone agrees after seeing the photos that it's a really nice guitar. But just about every interested party has asked me to tell them what I'll take for it. I guess I'm from the old school where a buyer makes a reasonable offer. I really don't think the price is way out of line, considering the condition, but hey, I might be a little flexible!!
Thanks very much,
Lynn |

Bumped again for a great guitar. Those single frame S-10 p/p's are tone machines to the core. Big, deep sound and all push/pull.

Hi Lynn. I sent you an email requesting photos. As I stated, I play a Carter S-10 on stage but would love to have an S-10 Emmons or Sho-Bud. I am looking for the "right" instrument since I want it as much for posterity as playability. I look forward to the photos and good luck with your sale. |

To anyone concerned:
I have a pending sale on this guitar, as the check is in the mail so to speak! I'll put a hold on it until I receive payment, in hopefully about a week or so from now.
Thanks to all,
Lynn |
