Mint National, new strings, sounds great.
Amp has been completely reworked, new speaker Jenson, all new tubes, 3 new tube sockets, and all caps and res. that needed it has been replaced.
Was repaired by Ken Fox.
National $700.00
Silvertone $300.00

Silvertone pictures are at the Silvertone web site.

It is a 40XL. Neat amp, rivals the Marshall, similar design! It has 2-EL84 power tubes and 3-12AX7 preamp tubes. Sweet amp!

Here is a post I found on another forum:

(2) 7189/EL84, 6X4 Rectifier,
(3) 12AX7, w/ trem & reverb.
I think it was Sears version of the Marshall 18W, but with reverb!
Early style big PCB that looks like it was hand soldered with full size components, and some hand wired components off the board.
My favorite amp for small venues!!

I could not believe the bottom end of this amp, I do not know how a 12" Jenson speaker could sound so great, It ALSO Sounds good across the neck. good clean tone.
Reason for selling I have found a Walker Stero for $400., and a set of closed cabnets
with 15" BWs for 400, that is $1,700 worth for $800.
