Good luck. I don't know of any church that has sold an organ. You can't even give them away. No one wants them anymore.

Pipe organ or electronic organ?
I know a buddy of mine just picked up a Hammond B2 (same as a B3 without percussion) from a guy who got it from a church. If it is a Hammond it may have some resale value -- esp if it's the right model. If it's a pipe organ, you may not even be able to GIVE IT AWAY. They are often built into the structure and may cost a fortune just to remove.
What kind of organ is it?

Off-topic: You wouldn't happen to be the Mike McBride that played with Paycheck, would you? If so, hello dude! If not, I hope you at least sell the organ. BB |

I know the Baptist Courier has classified ads in the back, you could put an ad there. |

I do not have any more information yet on what type it is. It has a locking lid like a roll top desk & I've never seen it it open in the 4 months I've been going there.
It is about 8 feet wide by 4 feet high by 4 feet deep. It took 8 guys to carry it when we replaced the carpet.
P.S.
I am not the guy that played with Paycheck. |

Hi Mike...Still trying to figure out what you've got...Does it have 3 or 4 keyboards ?
Are there pipes in the wall ? How soon does it have to be moved ?
Thanx.

If it is not a Hammond B3,C3,Rt3,A100 etc then it is virtually worthless. No one buys those church things like the Allen or Rogers etc. If it took you 8 people to move it then you have a dinosour on your hands. Hammonds do not have a roll top cover on them. Donate it to a Goodwill store and take the tax write off. Best of luck to you. |

I have been working with a church designing a sound system and there is a man at the meetings who ia a representative of an organ company. He is working on integrating a used electronic organ that the church bought on the secondary market. You may want to do some research. The name of the company is THE BEAUTIFUL SOUND 6475 Joliet Rd, La Grange Highlands, IL 60525 - (708) 482-7100
Good luck.
