This guitar is in very good working order. Good pedal action, stays in tune. Mica is in nice shape. It sounds great to me. I have a fatback D-10 and this guitar keeps up surprisingly well. Original pickup sounds good. I believe it is mid to late 70's. Stamped 170 BR. Is this model the "Black Rock" ? I've heard that but don't know if is an official term. Seems to be a hybrid between a student and pro model. Has the student model pickguard and volume and tone knobs. It has small raised wood neck. Four knee levers that I believe are factory.
RKL: raises the first string from F# to G# (Not G- I didn't make this mod), and lowers 6th string G# to F# (standard Emmons)
RKR: lowers 2nd string to D, and C#
LKR: Lowers the E's to D#
LKL raises the E's to F
Case in good shape, I believe it's original.
