Sonny,
A friend bought this Sierra in June of 2003. It still has original strings, except for the third string.
He paid 1850.00. Tuning is original from Sierra.
P1 raises the B's to C#. P2 raises the G#'s to A. P3 raises E to F# and B to C#. LKL raises the E's to F. LKR lowers E to Eb. RKL raises the F#'s to G. RKR lowers the D# to D and the D to C#.
Serial # is SA.10P.1303.03 .
It only ways 28 lbs. Its nice and light yet sturdy. Roller Case is great. Tone was medium to bright. It has a nice pickup on it.
Pictures will be coming as soon as i get someone to post them.
It has a steel case on wheels with a handle for pulling it around. Again very light.
The price is 1200.00 plus shipping of about 50.00 in the USA.
I am selling it because I bought a Carter SD10w/5K. Email me with any questions. |

Jon Jaffe, you really did a good job considering the lousy pictures you had to work with. Thanks for you efforts, as i think they show the steel about as good as possible. |

These are really nice guitars, and very lightweight! Just the thing for someone who doesn't want to break their back carrying around an old ***. |

You are right Bob.This is a very light 28 lbs. It is really one of the best steels, once you sit down and play it.
The case is wonderful too, and with wheels, and all the other things in the case that make it a very well packed steel. I think the case is worth a couple hundred by itself. That really impressed me also.
I will try to put better pictures on tomorrow.
Those George L's really give this guitar a sound also. quite a sound too.It came with 3 knees and Ed Smith the owner, paid 300.00 to put the other knee on at the factory.Which included shipping , both ways , i imagine.
Any way , if you have back problems, (and who doen't) this is a very lightweight steel, that you will like very much. Again it has the Emmons set up, and it really is set up nice on the Knee levers and pedals too. I felt like i had been playing it for weeks , when i first sat down to play.
