I don't know if this link will work, but here's a look at me, at the Brendan Behan Pub in JP.
Any others out there?[This message was edited by Chris DeBarge on 20 January 2000 at 10:25 AM.] |

Hi Andy, thanks. It's a Rickenbacker 208, just got it from Bobbe & Jeanne Seymour. A vast improvement over my Stringmaster(I know that comment will make a lot of folks here mad, sorry about that!)
It's with the Bourbonaires, and I only play on about 1/3 of the songs, the rest of the time I must sit there, drink beer and smoke-against my will!

Chris,
drinkin' beer and get paid isn't that bad......
a Rickenbacker, hm! looks great! I understand your point, not everyone could play a stringmaster. I myself prefer my Fender Custom T8, although I also would like to own a Rickenbacker. How much did you paid for it? I wish I would find one but you know steels in general are extremely rare here in Germany so I could only depend on the internet... |

Totally Mike, that Stringmaster just didn't suit me for some reason. I was just never comfortable with the feel or sound, though many people sound great on them!
Andy, many of the steel guitar shops here in America have no problem shipping overseas, you could look into that. But what's wrong with the Fender Custom? |

Chris,
there's nothing wrong with the Fender. It's just that I need NEED more )
I like the way the Rickenbacker looks and the 2 I heard sounded great...... |

OK, here's another shot, flannel shirt night for the band members. It was a windy 12 degrees-and even colder outside the bar!(ba-rump bump!)
bOb/Brad, sorry about the bandwidth, but I'm like a kid with a new toy, and that toy is a digital camera. I'll stop now. |

Hey, Chris. b0b has repeatedly assured me that the bandwidth thing is a non-issue. So keep them photos coming. Less words to read, it gives my lips a rest. |
