I still have one new Fouke Industrial Lap steel, that many have been asking about. Fantastic hollow aluminum design, specially built and set up to play/feel like a standard dobro (string spacing, height, etc.) These sound like a mini reso unamplified, and plugged in they can go from smooth to growl. Pics on my website, email for more info. $295 shipped! (this price for forum members only)

Mark,
Do you have any links to pictures that the members can look at this guitar up close ?.....Hard to see what it's all about from the small picture on your site....Looks like an interesting guitar though...Thanks for your time...Jim |

In answer to inquiries for more "specs":
The Industrials are very well made, solid aluminum front and back, with white phenolic sides. Body is 1 1/4" thick. Humbucking pickup with tone and volume controls, chrome tele style knobs. Top quality Grover tuners, A sound port on the back allows access to the controls and you can also modify the sound somewhat by moving a leg over or off of the port. The body is hollow, open at the headstock, and has enough volume for unpugged practice at living room levels. The body is assembled with silver machine bolts, with contrasting black bolts for
position markers on the fret board, which looks very modern and cool. These (reso type models) are especially made for me, Set up to reso string spacing( 1 15/16" nut, 2 1/8" bridge), height(3/4" from body) and scale length of 22 1/4". Very comfortable to play, easy slants, great sound. There are sound clips of various models on the Fouke website: http://www.industrialguitar.com
Chippy, I don't have any 8 string guitars right now, but will keep you in mind when I find one! Hope this helps...
