I am from overseas also
LOL.
I would not sell any item that was not payed in full by money order.I also use only moneyorders to pay for parts that i order in Canada. And it works great.Just have to go to the local postoffice pay the order and it goes by computer and Canada can collect the money within 10 minutes.

I hate these "Overseas Con Artists".
We have enough of our own.

I wonder if it would work to go ahead and "make your deal," but give them the address to your local police department to mail the check to. ??? |

make them pay by international postal money order. You can cash that in every US post office.I sold few guitars to europe and Japan and never had a problem.International MO worked out very good for me.

Any time you do business, I would advise requesting, or sending , a postal money order whether it's in the USA or abroad ..
If someone screw's you around, you can always bring in the Fed's on this one....Get the money IN ADVANCE if you are the seller, and if you are the buyer, if the person on the recieving end is bogus, they will be dealing with Federal Fraud !!
I think we have all heard stories on how far our government will go to prosecute ANYONE who commit's fraud against this country ... |

I have bought a lot of stuff from different Forumites and had no problems bar one. I never expect any item to be skipped until the seller has been paid in full to their satisfaction. There is no problem if you dont ship until you have cash in hand....IP
