This model was one of Gibson's forays into the "folk music" craze of the 1960's. It has the 14 1/2" sized body similar to the LG-style guitars.
Spruce top, mahogany back and sides with walnut finish. Missing the original two white pickguards. 12-fret neck, and 2" wide at the nut, making it good for fingerstyle players with large hands. I'd give the condition a conservative 7.5 out of 10.

Comes with soft shell case.

My wife got this guitar in payment for a veterinary bill. She owns a Martin D-35 and doesn't need this thing. Again, cleaning house.

Vintage Guitar 2004 Price Guide gives this model a price of $750 to 950 in excellent condition. So we're asking $500, or make offer.

This guitar was intended to be used with EITHER nylon or steel strings---hence the 2"-wide fingerboard. They sound best with light gauge steel, or silk-and-steel strings, IMHO. I just wish I had 500.00!!
