Where might I get some of Jimmy Day's work in tab?

I don't know of any Jimmy Day tab. I don't think Jimmy ever wrote any, however, Dick Meis has the touch and sound of Jimmy, especially on some of the slower songs. Dick has just opened a new web site with some new material available (www.steelguitarstore.com).

He's a really great player and gentleman. Give him a call or email Dick. He'll be glad to work with you.

I used to live in Denver and have heard him in person.

Jimmy Day did have two booklets of tab with about 7 or 8 songs each.

I bought them around 1997 I think.

Since his death I don't know if they are still available. You might try contacting Herb Steiner, he might know more as I believe he and Jimmy were friends.
