If you're missing the high G string on your C6th tuning since you went to a high D string, check this out. You can have it and the 3 notes below it back again by moving up 5 frets and grabbing strings 3,4,5 and 6 instead of 1,2,3 and 4. The accompanying tab shows this and the pedal 7 4 string grab, 5 frets up (at fret 7) from the D root position at the 2nd fret. Just use your thumb to sweep the bottom 2 strings, no need for 4 picks! In fact I made up a whole song from this riff a few months ago called "G Ride" here .
