Is there such a thing as a book of tablature for bluegrass on the Dobro? Thanks.

Surely.
I have a small collection of Dobro tablature. Send me an email and I'll forward a few to you.
You can also find them on the Internet if you look long enough. But it seems that dobro and steel are a couple of the lesser tabbed instruments.

Thanks, Gary for your kind offer! I'm emailing you now.
Joey, I signed up at Reso-Nation and that should be fun! Thanks to both of you!

Hi, Leila! There are a ton of books for Dobro, most pretty cheap, too.
The best:
Stacy Phillips: Mel Bay's Complete Dobro Player
Tab/tunes only: Stacy Phillips: Mel Bay's Deluxe Dobro Tune Book
Mel Bay Presents
GOSPEL DOBRO by Ken Eidson & Tom Swatzell (I love this book!)
Also, You Can Teach Yourself Dobro,by Janet Davis. She has losts of good stuff.
There is more, much more, solos from the Great Dobro Weekend, or something like that.
I hope this helps. Are you taking up Dobro, too? |

Adrienne,
Thanks so much for these tips. I'm checking out those books, boy, the Mel Bay one is not cheap, huh. But it looks good. And I love gospel. Thanks again!
