Fur Elise by Beethoven for E9

This one just seems to fall onto the E9. It was arranged "by ear" but is reasonably close to the piano original.

It is of course only the first section ... maybe I'll attempt the rest another time.

To get the open 10th string at the start of Bar 2 I slide the bar forward and get the 2nd note by sliding the bar back .. sort of a "slid hammer on". This is easier if you reverse the bar .. ie bullet end toward you.

ABC are standard
E lowers 4 & 8 semitone
F raises 4 & 8 semitone
G raises 1 & 7 semitone

edited to add... the obscure key of F# min was chosen to facilitate the full arpeggio effect of the original.

Excellent presentation Michael. So much easier to make sense of TAB when the staff notation accompanies it.

This is GREAT tab. I love the way that the staff hits the tab postions in the same spot as the musical notes. Does anybody have a form for this sort of tab that can be duplicated?

I'm real happy about it for my own personal use .. I tend to suffer from "old-timer's" and can't remember half the things I work out, hence a quick page of typing keeps the odd good idea available.
