Anyone have the tab for Danny Boy like Buddy played it on the Black Album? |

Kenny,
It's in the Mel Bay's Anthology Of Steel Guitar by DeWitt Scott. |

Kenny,
I have it in gospel form and I borrowed some from Buddy when I did it. In gospel form it's called: "He Looked Beyond My Fault" and I would be happy to send it to you.

The version of Danny Boy on the CD with Scotty's "Anthology" is the actual recording from the Black Album, which is nice. The entire thing is transcribed note-for-note. It might be out-of-print but they had it at Billy Cooper's.
This book also has two others from the Black Album, "Greensleves" (with example audio re-recorded for the book), and "Blue Jade" with audio example live from ISGC 1978.

I'd like to recommend Erv's tabs. They are written in large bold figures for us large old buzzards with bad eyes. [This message was edited by Darryl Hattenhauer on 26 February 2006 at 07:55 PM.] |
