I just added this E9 arrangement of CRAZY to my website. For a printable version click here.

Standard E9 tuning. F = raise E to F, D = lower E to Eb, E = lower D# to D

Thanks Doug, I just learned your arrangement. It feels good to sit down behind the guitar and actually learn a whole song for once. A great confidence builder. Thanks again and ditto on the G aug.

Greetings and Absolutions Doug!

Thank you for fattening up the 'ol fake book! I hope that somewhere down the line I'll be able to return the favor. You're truly a friend to all of the PSG pickers.

A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.

A while back someone had a TE question about how to eliminate the rests at the beginning of a song when there are "pick up notes".

The latest TE update v2.60b9 allows you to specify a "pick-up measure", which gets rid of those pesky unwanted rests at the beginning of a song. Click on Score | Time Signature | Pick up Measure

A Blast From The Past.

I needed to review this song for this NYE, searched and found this. It's one of those songs I learned several times, then forgot.

Now to transpose to A...

Thanks Doug!

Thanks Doug, great tab. I've been practicing this tune for the last few days and finally got it memorized, just need to polish her up some more. BTW if anyone has Band in a Box I've got "Crazy" worked out with Patsy's original intro and Doug's chords if anyone wants it to practice with. Email me at loveridehd@aol.com

Terry, Thank you for your gracious words... it's more than I deserve. I don't do the courses anymore, but I do enjoy posting PSG arrangements on my site, as time permits. I'm gratified by the positive responses.

I am a Johnny come lately to this TAB section.

Doug, I would be interested in knowing what software program you use for your tabs?

Does it print tablature to the notes or notes to the tablature? Or both ways?

Any information that would help me decide if it was a program that I could use and benefit from.

Mahalo for your kokua.

Don

Don,
The program is Tabledit.
You can input notes or numbers. You can choose to print either or both. It also plays the music.

Matthieu, the developer or the program is not a Steeler, but he asked us for a lot of advice on what we needed, right here, about 5 years ago.

Do a search for TABLEDIT in this section to see how it happened.
