Hi guys,
On the Rainbow album, the maestro does a short version of WC (I think that's what it is...)
Being new to dobro tuning, anybody have this short ditty tabbed out?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Jay |

I capoed my guit at the second fret with it tuned to gbdgbd and it lays out pretty good so far...
I was just trying to get it quicker....
Thanks
Jay
Is the match-bro the acoustic pedal steel? (resonator?)[This message was edited by Jay Fagerlie on 28 November 2005 at 02:36 PM.] |

Match-Bro is Goodrich's reso simulator for an electric steel guitar.
That medley used authentic instruments -- nonpedal steel for the Hawaiian tune and Remington Ride and, as I recall, a Sho-Bro acoustic resonator guitar for Wabash Cannonball. It's the same part Oswald used to play with Roy Acuff. GBDGBD is the tuning -- standard Dobro tuning.

You're probably right -- either that or capoed
