Not sure of the Ray Price cut; but most every band here in Texas plays that song and usually in G or there about; and I play this over the 5 chord where you described that line goes to>

D
1.___10___________________10____________
2.______________________________________
3._____10__10b__10__10_______10__10b__10
4._10______10c__10_____10________10c__10
5._________10c__10_______________10c__10
6.______________________________________

Then repeat it in the root chord position at the 3rd fret or 15th fret..your desire.

The way I hear it on the "Night Life" album is Buddy is using a wide grip...I think it is 8,5 & 3. Then just step on the A/B pedals.

Hey Ricky...why does my tab look so tiny? Did you do something different?

No Mark; I didn't do anything until you mentioned it. Now I went in and edited both our tabs and just removed the "tab" markers and the original font size came up. The Markers will format to the suggested UBB code size....>but now with the new overall format for this Tablature section; you can actually paste in Tab without the markers and it will format it to line up> as long as the tab isn't written too wide or some really weird font....ha.
