| I came across an old kraftsman lap steel at a garage sale and couldn't pass it up for $2. But there's a catch. It has been completely cannibalized for parts -- nut, electronics, knobs, etc. All that is left is the body, neck, head, tuners, frets -- all in good shape. How, and where, can I find replacement parts, short of finding another of the same instrument and cannibalizing it. Is it worth the investment of time/money to rehab it -- or should I look for another 'vintage' instrument. I'd appreciate any help here. I've tried the local guitar shops, etc. Thanks |
