I really like the Tab that Jim Stewart posted last year, but there is no timing to the Tab. Where can I get the Tab with the timing of the Tab?? "Please Don't Leave Me" by Jimmy Day. |

Why not just listen to the tune and get it from there?

Gary, where do I get the tape or cd? I tried downloading Jim's items and could not get there. You are right, if I could just hear it, I would be fine. I play my own timing rendition and it sounds great, but I have a feeling it is not right. Thanks for your input! |

That makes sense.
Might try a search on ebay and then some of the cd sites online.

Richard,
I like the song as a 4/4 shuffle...similar to "Release Me" or other Ray Price shuffle timing. It is a beautiful steel instrumental.
However, beware that swing fiddle players love it upbeat and fast, sort of like Roly Poly. Don't ask a fiddle player to kick it off without first being sure they understand "Shuffle, Dude".
