I really like the Tab that Jim Stewart posted last year, but there is no timing to the Tab. Where can I get the Tab with the timing of the Tab?? "Please Don't Leave Me" by Jimmy Day.

Why not just listen to the tune and get it from there?

Gary, where do I get the tape or cd? I tried downloading Jim's items and could not get there. You are right, if I could just hear it, I would be fine. I play my own timing rendition and it sounds great, but I have a feeling it is not right. Thanks for your input!

That makes sense.

Might try a search on ebay and then some of the cd sites online.

Richard,

I like the song as a 4/4 shuffle...similar to "Release Me" or other Ray Price shuffle timing. It is a beautiful steel instrumental.

However, beware that swing fiddle players love it upbeat and fast, sort of like Roly Poly. Don't ask a fiddle player to kick it off without first being sure they understand "Shuffle, Dude".
