Just trying to learn how to use this computer and
how to post tab. Some one just starting to learn may
be able to use this little lick.

Reid; the font and format of this section kinda does the alinment for you as you see your stuff lined up ok> eventhough you didn't use the "tab" and "brackets" quite right.
Use these brackets> [ ] around the top "TAB" and use those same brackets with a "/" before the "TAB" for the bottom one.
Your doing fine..stay with it.

What tools are there available to generate the tabs? Surely its not a matter of typing..

1. (30 times) 7 etc etc?

Are there shareware or commercial tab drawing programs?

there were a couple of "underlines" spelled out on either side of the numeral 7 that got stripped out of my previous post.

I like TablEdit for most tablature. I makes nice looking steel tab too but is kind of hard to work with for pedal steel.
