I have added a C6th arrangement of the theme tune from the UK television programme 'Coronation Street' to my tab page.
This may not mean much to non-Brits, but its the longest running soap opera ever (over 40 years). I haven't seen it since I was a child, but its a great theme tune and quite easy to play on C6th.
p.s
I found a clip of the original recording here . |

Mick: Thanks for the tab. When you say that this selection may not be familiar to non-Brits it made me think of other songs in this category. While I'm sure there are many, "Pomp and Circumstance" by Edward Elgar came to mind. Considered tacky and overtly patriotic by many, it nevertheless has a beautiful melody and might sound interesting on PSG. Hey, we won't stop there, how about selections from Gilbert & Sullivan played on the PSG??? ...could be fun!

'Land Of Hope & Glory' perhaps ?
I think I'd draw the line at the theme from 'Eastenders' though |
