Hey -- Does anyone know where I can find the correct B11 tuning and tab for "Sand" by Andy Iona? I'm playing it on a Stringmaster 8-string. I've sort of half figured it out in some altered version of B11 on my C6 (high G) tuned neck (A-B-D#-F#-A-C#-E-F#; low-high). I can get parts of it, but I know this isn't the right B11 tuning to pull it off.
Actually, I can figure it out by ear if I just have the right tuning, if any of y'all know it.
Thanks!

Whoa!!! Found the MOTHER LODE!!!
http://www.scottysmusic.com/tunings.htm
I think I have all the tunings I need to keep me busy for a LOOOOOOOONG, LOOOOOOONG time!
Now, if anyone DOES have the tab for "Sand," that would be great! But, if not, I think I can figure it out.
Thanks again,
TJW

Jerry Byrd has that tabbed in his excellent course book (http://www.scottysmusic.com/byrdbook.htm). The tuning he is using is E-C#-A-F#-D#-C# (high-low). It is easy to play, mostly with a straight bar. |

Thanks! Actually, I figured it out by ear after finding an 8-string B11 tuning. But thanks, anyway!
By the way, how is it that this tuning can be called B11, if it has no "B" in it? I can see that it's implied, but to me, it looks more like a D#b9b5 (in third inversion, yet)! Interesting...
Thanks again for the link!
