This is one way to play it using only strings 3 and 6.
F=6th str lower 1/2 step
LL= 3rd str lower 1/2 step
LR= 3rd string raise 1/2 step
Tab:

12  14    12   10  10  10  9
12  14F   12   10  10  10  9F

If you don't have a 3rd string raise there is always the dreaded slant.

I find that playing stuff I know on the E neck over on the C neck gives me a better understanding of both tunings.
