Hey Dave,
Give Melvin Duffy a call up in the Manchester/Stockport area. He`d be able to help. You may still find him with the band "Texas Steamboat Company"
Good luck, and give him my regards when you make contact.

Bob Mainwaring. Z.Bs. and other weird things.

Melvyn Duffy?

He's the guy playing on the new Robbie Williams CD single which is at No 1 in the UK. The steel is mostly high end floaty suff but at least he gets a mention on the CD album.

Hello Bob & Clive
Yes, quite right it is Melvin on Robbie's (double A sider apparently.)But how the Heck do I get in touch with Melvin, I can't find him on the Web, and having gone through all the TAB replies I'm amazed no one has a tab for Desperado, Lloyd green did a Crackin' version of it. I'd do it myself but working 13 hours a day at the moment I just don't get time.
Cheers for now
Dave.

I have had a quick look and whilst I cant find the tab, I can find the chord sequence and words. Surely, the tab will emerge from the chord sequence?. Go to www.google.com type in eagles-desperado-chords and you will find all you want. It is the same for any song - amazing!

Interesting point - you will get a lot more results with eagles - desperado - chords ie leave gaps before and after the hyphens. Try to find Harmony Central - I have just printed out the chord sequence and words from there and am going to try it this evening. Thanks!
