I just discovered this position 2&3 frets below open position w/2nd string lowered to D.
A whole bunch of licks just came out of nowhere.
Examples are in key of C, 12/8-time.
The bar-count below is just a guideline to how the licks came out in the first place.
Examples can be timeshifted back/forth and still sound appropriate.

Could somebody who plays both E9 and C6 tell me if I am making things way to difficult on E9.
I am just wondering if similar things like this would be easier to play if I had a C6.

I have Eb to C# w/halfstop on 2nd string.
If the tab says 4L on the 2nd string = halftone down (Eb-D on open strings)
If the tab says 4LL on the 2nd string = wholetone down (Eb-C# on open strings)
