If you have the pedal that raises the 6th and 10th strings a full step (G# to Bb) play strings 3,4,5 and 10(or 6) using this pedal and lowering your 4th string a half step (or not). If you play a C chord at the 8th fret, using no pedals, strings 3,4,5 and 6 then move the bar up one fret and play this chord you get a G7b9sus(or 11?) or with a b5 note instead of the sus if you don't lower the 4th string. Both ways are nice.
