Hi everyone !
I just received the Emmons Live CD from Mike Ihde, and I just love the tune "The Preacher".
I'm ABSOLUTELY new to the C6, so could anyone point me the way into playing this one ??
I'm not expecting complete tab or anything, but rather an outlining of the actual chord-names, and how to play them (which pedals/frets/strings etc.) !!
My C6 is setup exactly like the "standard C6" in the Winnie Winston/Bill Keith book, plus a few extras !
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks

Jeff Newman has "the preacher" all tabbed out in one of his very early C6th courses along with "hold it", "B. Bowman hop","Maverick",a total of ten songs with back-up tracks that came on an "LP record" with Jeff on one side and the band on the other side of the mix.
I got my first taste of C6th with this course and would recommend it very highly.

You can get a nice tab/tape instructional version of The Preacher from Jim Loessberg. Jim's steel guitar jazz teaching tapes are a great way to start working your C6 jazz chops. His website URL is: http://members.aol.com/jlbrg/home.html
