I was weeding out some old cassette tapes and came across this song by Travis Tritt & Marty Stuart. I don't remember seeing it on the forum or Ricky's tab site, but it certantly needs to be. This is a good little solo. I think it was done by John Hughey, but not positive. This tape sounds like it was recorded from AM radio. There are no highs & is very crackly. But, I thought I'd give it shot anyway and tab what I could get out of it, then if any of you have a better recording or know this solo, why don't you edit what I've done and forward it on to Ricky's tab site. I think it's in Ab.

If it's Paul, he was wearing a John Hughey mask when they shot the video...

The CD that I have list John Hughey as the steel player on that cut. Paul is listed for the others.

I used to play this, so I dusted off the CD and went over it. Here is how I play the solo;

^ = slide up quick

It's hard to play this with anything approaching Mr Hughey's subtlety and I don't think I have it perfect note-for-note. Sorry for my misstatement earlier, but I got this off of a record called "The Marty Party Hit Pack" and it lists only Paul Franklin in the credits.
